Marc had a tremendous passion for helping others beginning at a very young age. Involved with community service since he was nine years old, Marc has worked with disadvantaged children, helped build baseball fields for local towns, and coached and volunteered as a baseball, football, basketball, and hockey clinician.

Matriculating to Phillips Andover Academy and then Harvard University, Marc’s passion was to play professional baseball and his 90mph plus fastball and athletic ability had him as one of the nation’s top prospects as both a pitcher and positional player.  As a quarterback, Marc was equally successful, setting multiple Massachusetts high school passing records at Phillips Andover, and being recruited by most of the top 25 Divison I college teams in the nation. Battling injury throughout his career, however, turned fatal to his professional aspirations in college as he tore his left labrum, and shortly thereafter his right labrum and biceps tendon, requiring 3 surgeries over a period of 4 years.  Although his career at Harvard was efficient, earning multiple league-recognized awards, it was short lived as his shoulders never fully recovered from surgery.

Marc’s attention then turned to the cause of these injuries and he discovered that his muscular conditioning and nutritional habits ultimately led to not only his injury, but also to his inability to recover from the surgeries.  When Marc was first introduced to Renegade Training and Nutrition Management he was in the last years of his recovery from injury and it proved to be too late to resurrect his professional potential. Thus, he turned to educating and training other athletes, focusing his efforts on aspiring high school and collegiate student-athletes.  He is now a happy and healthy athlete competing in baseball, basketball, and hockey leagues, as well as picking up a childhood dream-sport of snowboarding, and has broken free from the limiting qualities of athletic co-dependency.

Now, as one of the up and coming national sport performance coaches, Marc’s efforts have led to great strides in injury prevention and maximizing athleticism for athletes and exercisers of all backgrounds.   Marc’s passion for training, educating, and community service has proven to make the world a better place, one client, one team at a time.

Marc has opened Elite Baseball and Football Training Centers in the Greater Metro Area with the Boston Institute of Football located in Boston’s Historic North End. The Boston Baseball Institute has multiple locations in Metro Boston. The newest addition, The Boston Institute of Snow, launched it's first session in the Winter of 2011 sharing space in the North End. Marc’s athletes are performing at extraordinary levels all through the region at both the high school, collegiate level, and professionally but more importantly, Marc's clients are hard working, dedicated to their own future, and good citizens and neighbors.

Marc now spends most of his time working with Elite Athletes, both here in the states and abroad, consulting with university, collegiate, and professional teams, writing for international exercise, sport, and nutrition outlets, and working with clients recovering from injury, or who have extraordinary Performance Coaching needs at his most local location, HordoN HEALTH - North End.
